The Mon/Wed Dash

I referenced the rec center in my Bento #2 post. The kids are taking swim lessons, Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Janie's lesson is from 4:00-4:25, Jacob's from 4:30-4:55.

Jacob and I pick Janie up from school at 3:15, high-tail it over to the rec center, stake claim to a chair, get them both changed, they have their lessons, they shower, get dressed and we zoom home, arriving around 5:45. I was on the ball today and had chili in the crock pot before Jacob and I left to pick up Janie, so dinner's taken care of tonight. I'm usually not quite so on the ball.

Jacob has gymnastics on Fridays at 9:00, Janie starts basketball next Saturday, I think.

So there you have it, our athletic outings for the next 6 weeks or so. :)
