Looking back at one of Janie's...

... big days almost three and half years ago. This is the very first digital layout that I did. I think my style's changed a little, wouldn't you say!? LOL



I can barely read the journaling in the original, this is what I think it says:

On January 19th, almost a week before her 3rd birthday, we switched Janie to her big girl bed. That afternoon, she took her nap in her crib, and of course, I had to take pictures!

That night, we put the bed together and she loved it – loved it even more I think, because it meant that Mommy and Daddy could lay down with her for a few minutes at bedtime.

She made it through her first night with no problems, even called for us when she woke up. It was exciting and a bit sad, it’s so hard to believe that she’s almost three! - January 2004

The bed in the photos is the one Jacob is in now. Janie somehow finaggled her way into a queen size bed. She's livin' large.
