Smilies, Beds and Diapers

First off, I really, really, really wish you could use smilies here. I know some think they are geeky, but I love them and they serve me well. So there, take that anti-smiley people!

Since my last (real) post on July 9th, some fun has been had and a couple of really cool things have happened. Let's see... first one of the really cool things.

The bed set features woodies with surf boards... right up Mark's alley. We both really like this set, Mark also liked the $33 price from Dillards. That price included the comforter, bed skirt, sheet set and two decorative pillows. Gotta' love their final clearance sales!

Jacob's doing great in his bed, has only fallen out once, but recovered very nicely and hasn't gotten out of bed after we put him down for the night.

The mornings are not going quite so nicely. Used to be when he was in his crib, he'd wake up at 5:30/6:00 and chill out until 7:00/7:30 "reading", singing, playing with some toys, etc. You know where this if going, right? Yeah, yeah... long story short - I'm not getting as much sleep as I used to get.

Swimming classes wrapped up July 11th. Jacob passed on to the next level, PreSchool I. Janie will repeat Red Level. They both did awesome and really enjoyed the classes and their teachers. We'll prob enroll them again during the fall.

I'll have to wait until later to finish catching up. It's 1:30. Bad, Shannon, go to bed.
